08 JUNE 2019: PARA: Ten employees of the Hides Gas Development Company (HGDC) now have the first aid” skills and knowledge required to provide advanced response in a range of situations- an added value to the company’s Occupation Health and Safety Practices.
The employees both from HGDC’s Para and Juni Camps underwent the training from the 14th of May- 16th of May 2019.
The training was conducted by the world’s largest medical and travel security services firm, International SOS.
HGDC Chairman Tuguyawini Libe Parindali presented certificates at the Para Camp over the weekend in a small occasion witnessed by HGDC Para Camp employees.
HGDC Camps and Compliance Manager Roger Charman said all employees passed the course.
“The trainers were make-up of 5 employees from the HESL Civil Maintenance Division and 5 from Para Camps,” he said.
“The HGDC management warmly congratulates each participant for the skills and knowledge acquired in the space of first aid conducted by SOS which has a esteemed reputation around the globe in providing first aid services amongst others. These skills are added value to the company and the employees themselves.” Chaman said.
Mr. Charman said a further Advance First Aid Training was schedule for the coming months with ISOS as well.
